After the shower: practical powder use

Shower to Shower is a cosmetic corn starch body powder. It absorbs surface moisture, helps reduce everyday friction, and neutralizes odor. Here is how to store the bottle, apply the powder, and keep the cap flowing smoothly at home.

Keeping the bottle dry and sealed

Keep the shaker cap seated tightly when you are not using it. Store the bottle on a dry shelf or in a cupboard away from running water. Bathrooms collect steam, and moisture that gets inside the cap will make the corn starch base clump around the openings. Wipe the outside of the bottle with a dry towel if water splashes onto the plastic. Keeping the bottle dry keeps the powder moving freely.

Dusting a light and even layer

Turn the bottle and shake a small amount into your hand or directly onto clean, dry skin. A light, even dusting is all you need. You do not need a thick layer for the corn starch to absorb wetness and ease rubbing. Spread the powder gently across the skin with your palm. The formula absorbs moisture that is already on the skin. It does not stop sweat production like an antiperspirant.

Where to use the powder

People commonly apply our powder to areas prone to everyday friction and moisture. Dust it along the underarms, around the waistband, between the thighs, or over the feet before putting on socks and shoes. Our Original Fresh, Morning Fresh, and unscented Sport powders are cosmetic products. They help with routine chafing and odor. They do not treat rash, fungus, or irritated skin.

Clearing clogged shaker holes

If steam causes the shake holes to clog, do not push damp objects into the top. Keep the bottle upright and tap the base firmly against a flat, dry counter to settle the contents. Turn the cap to close it, then wipe the top with a dry cloth to clear loose buildup. Turn the cap open and tap the side of the bottle gently to get the corn starch powder flowing again.
